How we keep the service free to use

A number of suppliers may pay Tili a small fee for arranging your energy or broadband switch. If you have been introduced to Tili via a third party, such as a letting or estate agent, we may pass commission on to them when you switch. This helps us to keep the service free of charge for you. 

We will never add additional fees, charges or commission to package prices. The prices you see are set by the respective suppliers. 

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

  • We don’t exclude or limit, in any way, our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Please note that we only provide Tili for domestic and private use. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

How we may use your personal information

We’re not responsible for viruses and you must not introduce them

We don’t guarantee that Tili will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You’re responsible for configuring your hardware and software to access our site. You should always use your own virus protection software.

You must not misuse Tili by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Tili, the server on which Tili is stored or any server, computer or database connected to Tili. You must not attack Tili via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. If you do, we’ll report this to the relevant law enforcement authorities and disclose your identity to them. Your right to use Tili will end immediately.

Rules about linking to Tili

You may link to Tili, provided you do so in a way that’s fair, legal and doesn’t damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

You must not establish a link in a way that suggests any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link to Tili on any website that is not owned by you.

We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

Which country's laws apply to any disputes?

These terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by Scots law. The courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction.

‘Tili’ and the Tili logo are  trademarks of Ovo Energy Limited (company number 06890795). You are not permitted to use them without our approval.
